Actually excluding annotations

I added base.excludeAnnotations = keepout to my jungle file, but while it doesn't complain it doesn't work. So far the only thing that actually works to keep that section out is to comment it out. I can can tell when the memory is about 3k less that it's not compiled in. Documentation around this is just sad, so I hope someone has some tribal knowledge.

It can be a class. Mine are usually modules as it's the exact same code I use to build a barrel.

What about the "project.manifest = manifest.xml" in my current monkey.jungle? Is it optional?

I don't think so. It's always there is my experience since jungles were introducted.

Your example monkey.jungle doesn't have it. I can just add something like you put into your example into my monkey.jungle after the existing line? Or is something crossed up?

What I posted where only the parts having to do with pulling in code from barrel project. The actual file is much larger.

it's required. But it's worse, because when you run from VSC it's ignoring it in certain scenarios (I think when you run using launch.json)
