Question regarding Garmin's BLE implementation

Hi, my car allows a phone to act as a key through BLE. Someone managed to get his Apple Watch to talk directly to the car through BLE. Before I invest time to see if I can make this work on my Garmin watch, I would like to know if Garmin's BLE API allows such access. Can I connect to any type of BLE devices that can accept a connection?

There is no security in the CIQ implementation of BLE so that may be an issue.

Thanks. It's actually the other way around. The car has to see the Bluetooth device (usually a phone running the car app) and it pairs to that device (phone).

With CIQ BLE, all it can do is scan for devices that are advertising. A Garmin can't advertise in a CIQ App.
