How to achieve the glowing colors the epix2 OEM analog watch faces have ?

The Epix gen 2 and other AMOLED devices support 65536 colors (16 bits), far beyond the 16 old predefined Color enum values. Even current MIP devices support 64 colors.

To specify the color of your choice, just pass it to setColor() in RGB888 format.

Thank you however I am not sure it is just a matter of the color,

if you look at epix2 youtube videos w/ this particular WF (or its green-color sibling) you will see that upon gesture it is bright and later on/few seconds letter it gets dimmer, and I am wondering if e.g. that trick/feature is used in e.g. the 12 and 6 o'clock HH marks vs all the other HH marks, since - just like the hands, these 2 HH marks are much brighter, and while it might be just a brighter color shade, I am wondering if perhaps it is more than that.

P.s. also looked at the SDK and could not find anything (class/method) which has to do w/ dimming/brightness

do you happen to know how to achieve gradual colors transitioning from FG-color to BG-color rather than abrupt transitioning, or where I could find example of how to do that ?

There's no gradient drawing built-in as far as I know.  That could be an image with an alpha channel for gradual transparency changes.
