getStressHistory with Descent G1 / G1 Solar

I'm trying to read the stress history in the simulator with a Descent G1 watch. According to the docs it should work: https://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq/api-docs/Toybox/SensorHistory.html#getStressHistory-instance_function
Also it works fine on the Instinct 2.

But my app crashes in the simulator with:

Error: Symbol Not Found Error
Details: Could not find symbol 'getStressHistory'

Per the API doc getStressHistory is availbe "Since: API Level 3.3.0", but per the device file used in the sim, the Descent G1 has this: "connectIQVersion": "3.2.7",

The real device might have 3.3.x but the sim's api level for the device might be behind. This is a case where you may want to use "has".

You can manually change the "connectIQVersion" in the descentg1 compiler.json to 3.3.0 and it should work if you want to test it in the simulator.

You don't want to do that. It could mess up things on a real device. It's FAR better to use "has"

Sure, only for testing purposes, e.g. if you want to get a value from :getStressHistory or so. Normally I leave the descentg1 on 3.2.7 and change the instinct2 to 3.3.0 to test both versions, as it is the same device from a IQ point of view.

But the devices might not have the same CIQ level. And you change the device files and you may forget to change back and then build an iq file. Just test on a sim device that has the proper FW level.

For many device, hacking the file for ww devices could still have issues on APCA devices. Use has.
