What project type for Edge?

What is the right project type for Edge devices?

Documentation talks about Device Apps but I don't see this project type in VS Code. In VSC I only see

None of these feel right. I was able to start a widget project in an Edge 530 sim but I'm not sure if that's the right type or not.

This for example is of the Device App type

I dont even see that option.

"Watch app" and "device app" are synonymous in CIQ. You'll find there's a lot of little issues with inconsistent terminology like that.
