Dithering and color palette

Hi
I'm running into an issue,
I've created an png image using indexed 8 colors palette matching Garmin available color.
Still the color do not appear solid but dithered once displayed on the watch.

I'm probably doing something wrong, but just cant figure what.
Is There any tutorial for proper non dithered graphic.

All my problems with dithering came from using an RGB palette. Have you converted to indexed palette?

well I get dithering in the blue (small dark dots inside the solid color)
The image use indexed color .

You'll probably want to disable dithering in the xml. This is described in the Programmer's Guide.

By my reckoning that color is 0D79C1. You want either 00AAFF or 0000FF from 16 color palette, or 0055AA

I think your calculations turned out to be correct in principle. But it seems to me that #f7e7ce and #5f9ea0 from the color palette will be more cost-effective colors https://create.vista.com/colors/palettes/retro/. They will fit in well and look cool :)
