transition from Eclipse to Visual Studio Code

I started again working on my app and noticed, that Eclipse seems to be deprecated.

I want to move to Visual Studio Code, but did not find a clear way to do that.

Somewhere I read that the installation of Visual Studio Code as such is not supported by Garmin.

I now have the following plan/questions:

1. Just look for Visual Studio Code in the Internet and install it on my iMac.

2. Do I have to install the SDK again? (I have already installed 4.1.7 together with Eclipse)

3. Install the Visual Studio Code Monkey C Extension following the Garmin instructions.

4. How do I copy my projects from Eclipse to Visual Studio Code ?

I succeeded to migrate.

Can you tell me what you had to do to get to the point where you could run your project in the Simulator for one or more models of watch, and build to upload your app to the Garmin App Store ?

I'm just beginning this process and don't see much guidance.
