Define global variable only if glance is activated

Hi,

I have defined a global class:

class MyDayAdvancedApp extends App.AppBase {
    function initialize() {
        AppBase.initialize();
    	glob = new global();
    }
}

Saying that, the class global shall only been created if glance view is activated:

(:glance)
class global {

}

How can I manage this?

hi, I would try:

class MyDayAdvancedApp extends App.AppBase {
    function initialize() {
        AppBase.initialize();
        if(Toybox.System.getDeviceSettings() has :isGlanceModeEnabled){
    	    glob = Toybox.System.getDeviceSettings()isGlanceModeEnabled?new global():null;
    	}
    }
}

Not sure what you are trying to do, but if you want something only in your glance view, do the

glob=new global()

in initialize() of the glance view.
