LOL. My daughter said that now it works because I reported that it doesn't work :)
Well the "Sorry, the app wasn’t sent to your device because we’re having trouble communicating" is gone. so the app is uploaded, but I still see the old version so I still can't try it out on a real device...
Just writing, so maybe now it'll work ;)
48 hours later I still don't see any of the last 4 versions I uploaded since... Brandon.ConnectIQ is this "normal"?
But I not only exited but intentionally killed the Connect IQ app every time I tried to download it... So it seems that somehow my app is stuck. Brandon.ConnectIQ can someone look at this app: apps.garmin.com/.../6df15d21-a323-4f70-a8cb-4900a4ddacda
Regarding the "Sorry, the app wasn’t sent to your device because we’re having trouble communicating with our servers. Please try again later." message: I see now that it happens when we try to download the app immediately after we uploaded a new iq file. This is the request:
apps.garmin.com/.../install
and this is the response:
{
"className": "ResourceNotFoundException",
"message": "404 : \"{\"error\":\"ResourceNotFoundException\",\"errorText\":\"Latest Version for App with appUuid=bc038b10-2426-42c3-9a16-2b376dd16ecc is not available\"}\""
}
May I recommend an easy fix: while the app is not ready (I guess it's waiting for some automated checks) disable the download button (best if there could be a text next to it or at the top of the screen explaining the situation)
