Creating Highest Quality Animations

Good morning people,

I'm going to give the monkey motion animations another chance, but I would like to know thoughts on the best way to convert a MP4 Video -> into a monkey motion file.

I've had wildly varying results, and am trying to ascertain if there is a method that I should follow to get the colours more closeley matched.

I tried making a high quality GIF - which looked great, and allowing monkey motion to convert that automatically for the watches ( which looked terrible ), and made the IQ file 110 Mb.

Should I be creating the GIF already with the biggest watch resolution in mind that I want to support, and also the colours? converting to 256 for example?

Then would monkey motion not make as many changes to the picture quality?

Has anyone had success in terms of retaining some quality with this?

  • take fenix7x for example,fenix7x only supports 64 colors. So you have to manually edit your gif and reduce the colors to be 64 or less。and the colors should be just in the palette of the 64 colors which are supported by fenix7x

  • Ok, thanks - do you have any suggestions for software that allow users to dictate those parameters when making the GIF?

the other issue is if I want to make the annimation for several watches at once, I cannot give Monkey motion several input files, so what is the best approach here?
