How to create activity app

Hey, everybody,
I'm new here and I'd like to try programming my own app. The app should be launched from the activity list. I can't seem to find anywhere a procedure on how to do this. I have activities on my watch: running, walking, hiking etc. Here I would have my own activity "watching TV" for example. How do I do that? Does anyone have a link to a hello world activity?

I created a sample app using this (www.youtube.com/.../UCcdzKYC9c6OY0eLjJOXZuVw) video and would like to make it an activity. What do I need to do for that?

See the record sample in the SDK for a very basic one.

Thanks for the answer. I already looked at this example and somehow I didn't see it there. I'll have to look into it in more detail. Is there any way to do development on a physical device not a simulator?

I tried uploading the program via USB to the watch and it works. Thanks a lot.
