store is down again?

I uploaded my beta app 3 times (only changed the version) in the past 2 hours and still don't see any of them...

  • 2 more hours passed and still nothing :(

  • Yep..... I still cannot upload to the store. I think they should probably put something out saying the app store is not availablae until further notice.....     All I see is 2 hours of planned maintenance on the 8th, but obviously something has gone wrong in that process.

  • I haven't been able to reproduce this with beta apps today (my uploads and updates are reflected immediately). I'll try non-beta apps, as well, but in the meantime, can each of you send me a link to your affected apps? I can have our app store team take a look and see if they can tell what's going on.

  • I've seen this with both beta and production apps at times.  What I do is power off both the device and phone, turn them back on, and things work.  I've had users run into this too, tell them the same, and those I hear back from say it worked.

  • So here's an example, I was able to publish and update an app prior to approval to version v2.0. I then approved it and updated it to v3.0. Here's what I see while logged in with my developer account:

    Notice the banner at the top—there's a security scan that can take some time delaying updates to the public version. Right now, the public sees v2.0:

    I'm not aware of any outages or maintenance that would otherwise cause issues with app uploads.

  • I am trying to upload a new app. 

    It just says try again later after waiting for about a minute ( after clicking upload ) 

  • Were you just repeat clicking on submit? I must have tried about 20 times, from 2 different computers, and using 3 different VPNs over the last 3 days, no difference

  • So, I just tried again to upload a new App. - this time I tried with in-private browzing turned on.

    After clicking Submit, Bottom left of browser says " Waiting for Apps.Garmin.Com"

    24 seconds later the webpage changes and says 

    " Sorry, this page is currenlty unavailable. Please try again later"

    A few hours earlier today I had a different message which said the server is currently under maintenance.

    If I don't put the version or file path I get immediat error. 

    The only other thing I can think of, is that my IQ file is 149 Mb in size and includes monkey motion files

    Could the size be an issue?

  • I wasn't repeat clicking on submit or anything like that. have you tried without VPN, etc., just to remove some possible piece in the middle? There was some server maintenance taking place earlier this week, but everything I see indicates things are working fine. I suppose it could be related to your IQ file size. Perhaps try a smaller file (just build one of the templates unmodified) and see if that makes a difference.

    Aside from Gavriel mentioning a delay in seeing his app updates appear right away, we don't have any other reports of individuals having trouble with app submissions.
