Managing ANT+ Sensor in Simulator stopped working

Hi,

i don't know what exaclty has been changed, but since switching to VS Code my app in the simulator does not connect to the ANT+ device.

ANT USB Stick 2 is connecting well when using ANTware II testing tool.

Any help on how to debug this?

I never tried it in eclipse only in MSC, but i bought a Garmin ant stick in the summer and could never make it work. I still don't know if the stick is broken or the simulator. BTW I use Linux

I discovered the same exact problem today. SimulANT+ works as expected but the CIQ simulator will not connect to ANT+ device when launched from VS Code.

Using:
- ANT USB Stick 2
- Connect IQ Device Simulator 4.1.5
- Windows 10

Does it work with Eclipse? I've had a long term issue with the BLE Dongle were it worked with eclipse, but with VS Code I couldn't simulate any app. It's working with the 4.2.0 beta 1 SDK but not with 4.1.5 and a few prior ones.

Lastest working version with Eclipse (Oxygen.3a)
is CIQ 3.2.5, VS Code minimum is 4.0.6 which does not work, same with 4.2.0 beta1.

Windows 10

Looks like a bug in CIQ Rel. v4*

The 3.2.5 SDK? If so, try the latest production SDK - 4.1.5

Hi, i reviewed my changelog and tested all SDK versions, so latest version working in both Eclipse and VSC is 4.0.10!

I seem to recall hearing that there was an issue with two ant sticks on the same machine and something like SimuANT. Have you tried moving the second stick to a second machine? (laptop) or just using 1 stick and connecting to a real device? I'm on win11, 4.1.5 SDK, and an app that uses a real tempe sensor and 1 ant stick on the machine and I'm able to run fine, Here's what I see in the Device Manager for the ant stick as far as windows goes

I don't see anything in the sim under "Manage ANT+ Sensors", but I am seeing the Tempe and it's data in my app.

That was with eclipse, but tried again with VS Code and the 4.2.0 beta 1 SDK and it works the same.

I'm just using one stick with a real device (weight scale). Same Stick and driver works well with ANTWare II TestTool.

So just switching to a 4.1.x SDK starts to fail. Since there are also other users reporting this problem, i think it's not releated to the setup. So what's the status about the open ticket CIQQA-1354?

Without latest SDK it's hard to support users requesting compatibility for aktual devices.

Using VSC, the simulator works with CIQ SDK v4.0.10 but nothing higher. I'm using an actual Moxy Oxygen sensor and running the Garmin example "..\samples\MoxyField". Is this a bug or something in my settings?
