Updated Datafield is downgraded after restarting the device

I am experiencing again a recurrent issue when I update datafields to a new version.

Although the datafield is successfully updated (by means of GCM android) and I can use most recent version for the first time, if I switch off and restart the device, the datafield is downgraded to the penultimate version. Since that moment, no update is shown again neither by GCM, nor GExpress. I must reinstall it again or submit a new version to the store, so that new downgrading provides the version I want.

In my case I'm using an Edge1030, but I do not think it is related to the device, but the IQ store.

Is someone experiencing this issue? It is annoying when updated version fixes relevant bugs or adds features

  • I see sometimes similar, but slightly different issue:

    I click on update in Connect IQ, it seemingly finishes the update (based on what i see on the phone) but a few moments later it again shows that there's a new version.

    It looks like the underlying condition that is causing this is that there's not enough free storage on the device (in my case it's usually my watch). Once I've been told this and I deleted enough of the unused apps and got enough free space the problem seems to be improved (though still not 100% fixed)
