Permission required error in CIQ_LOG

What type of app, and what are you trying to do?

Just a watchface with nothing fancy.  Existing permissions used are

You don't see a call stack in the ERA Report?  What are you trying to do with Positioning and Sensor?

There are no ERA reports for that device in the ERA log.

I use positioning to just get the GPS position.  For the sensor, I read the latest sample from the pressure history, 

To get the current (actually last) GPS position use Activity.Info.currentLocation.  You can't start GPS in a watch face.  It sounds like you use SensorHistory and not Sensor.  

When you test in the sim, are you using Simulation>Activity Data to feed in data?

Yes I use Simulation>Activity Data, (built in simulated data; not FIT file) for testing.

I checked and I'm not actually using the Sensor module.  So you were right about that.  I can remove that permission.  I've used both Position.getInfo() and Activity.Info.currentLocation, whichever has been available in watchfaces without too much difficulty.  May be I didn't monitor carefully which one actually gets acquired. 

Any comments on what the Permission error is in the CIQ_LOG file?  That's my original question.

I removed access to Position to get position data from a watchface, but when testing with the simulator, with an activity started,  Activity.getActivityInfo().currentLocation always seems to be null.  There seems to be no way to test the code other than to artificially inject a value.

You need the permission to get a non-null in currentLocation.  What are you doing if you get a valid currentLocation?  anything else with Position?  toDegrees() should be fine
