When I develop a custom CIQ data field, on my EDGE device, I can create a "FILENAME.txt" in the "Garmin\Apps\LOGS" folder, and anything I write to the console gets recorded in the TXT file on the device. A nice feature to debug tricky conditions or log events.
On my Forerunner 955 watch, this doesn't seem to work. The TXT files stay empty. Anyone get this to work? Either the "write to log file" is broken on the Forerunner. Or I'm not creating the proper TXT file. I only see two PRG files in the "Garmin\Apps" folder. Both have a modify time of 9:51am this morning. And I just updated my data field around 1:30pm. I can't find any other place where a PRG file might be hiding. So MAYBE the data field is put somewhere else on the device and I haven't created the correct TXT file?
