Sharing activities but not map

Not sure if this is the right place or not but it would be great to share activities with connections but able to set the map/gps data to automatically be private at the moment I've had to set everything to do not share as I start from my house and I don't want random people I'm connected to, to the GPS location

Strava has a certain option where you can blur the start/end points of an activity around to prevent ppl from knowing the "exact" location of your house.

In Garmin Connect, under Account Settings, Privacy Settings, you can set Privacy Zones.

"Create a privacy zone around an address, such as your home, to hide your start point on publicly shared activities. It’ll also hide your end point if you finish inside the zone. You’ll always see your full route, but others will only see the middle of the route."

I've just tried that put the post code in it comes up with the correct address saved it and it keeps showing some random place in USA tried twice

i worked it out, if you put your address in, before you save make sure you click on the map and then save
