How to test widget on device?

Here's a newbie question for you:

I have a widget that can be tested on a VivoActive3 by just copying it to /GARMIN/APPS. But doing the same on my Forerunner 955 does not work.

I expected the widget to show up next to the default widgets, but it is nowhere to be found. Furthermore, the .prg file is removed.

How can I test my widget on the FR955? (I'm using SDK 4.1.5).

Ok, the 955 is a CIQ 4 device and there aren't actually widgets - they are supper apps, and if you want to see them in the glance loop, you need to have a glance view You also need to build for the 955. A widget built for the va3 won't work (you'll see an error in the ciq_log file if you try)

But an interesting thing is that a super app will show in the list of activities (like Run), regardless of if it has a glance view.

Thank you. I'm actually just using the code generated by the New Project wizard. Do you know of any code example that shows how to add a glance view? I've tried a few examples, but I always get a build error saying "attempt to redefine object" followed by "Duplicate declaration of symbol 'getApp' in module 'globals'."

Never mind. I stumbled upon your GlanceSample project, and that seems to show me what I need.
