How to execute web requests from behavior delegate without additional input from user?

My goal is to make a setup for my widget with some fancy ProgressBar animation. As I discovered it is impossible to start app in ProgressBar view i have to create transitional view and delegate(SetupEntry and SetupEntryDelegate). Delegate checks if bluetooth is connected and finally push ProgressBarView. Then I make a couple chained web requests. As this setup should be automated I need it to run without additional clicks so I do it from constructor, but probably it is not the right way, because I am getting -300 errors(Request timed out before a response was received ) and call stack does not seem right. What are common patterns in solving similar automated setup and download problems?

iOS and Andriod act as proxies, as does something on a mac or pc. Where are you running the sim? A mac or pc?

I'm not sue about this, but the sim may still use the stuff from Internet Explorer in the background. When you tried a browser, which one did you use?

Your machine should have IE and Edge. Try them. I haven't used firefox in a number of years. It's mainly chrome for me.

Check your proxy settings regardless. But you'll probably need to start debugging with tcpdump and/or mitm-proxy or similar tools.

Since this has been narrowed down to the sim (or maybe the sim and iOS), what to you see in "File>View HTTP Traffic" in the sim? Maybe you said that already but worth another try.

Could it be some network settings that prevent requests from happening, i remember experimenting with network quality setting, but now I could not find that.
