Settings in Garmin Express

Hi

I'm trying to use "settings" for an app as described here : http://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq/programmers-guide/resource-compiler/

In Eclipse, the ConnectIQ / Apps Settings Editor works fine but when I copy the ".prg" file to my Fenix 3 HR and then launch Garmin Express, there's no link to the settings in the app list (no "3 dots" after app name). Neither on the Connect iPhone application....

Are settings available for apps ? If yes, is this because the app is not published yet (I just copy the PRG file to the App directory of the watch) or am I missing something ?

You can't use app setting (GE or GCM) with a sideload, as some of the info needed actually comes from the app store. There's a post here somewhere that talks about submitting it to the app store but note "do not approve" in the name, so you can test it but only you can download it.
