Error while downloading the SDK for Windows through the SDK Manager 1.0.4

I have downloaded and installed the SDK Manager as well as VS Code with Monkey C.
I connect to my garmin connect account but the SDK download ends up in error.
Unable to download the list of SDKs. Error code: 33554467

I have tried logout or login several time as suggested in other posts. But I don't see how this could solve the problem...
Is there a way I can download and install by my self?
Does my garmin account needs to be setup as developper in some way?
Any other suggestion?

I once had some strange (though a bit more hinting at the problem) error messages when I started the SDK Manager, it turned out to be a permission problem. The directory it wanted to write to was not writable by the user that ran SDK Manager

I'm facing this issue when trying with SDK Manager v1.0.8. Though the SDK Manager shows "Logged In" after entering credentials, out IT Team is reporting that backend error is login invalid. Any updates on this issue? I have mailed the details in the mentioned email ID as well. Need support.

The problem was with the SSL certificate because I was behind a firewall.
The error message was just not specific enough.
