App crash but no log file or era record

I've had 2 users report crashes of my datafield but nothing is showing in their CIQ log file.  Also nothing showing in the ERA viewer.  And i'm unable to reproduce the error both on the same model physical device nor in the simulator.   

It's an extremely small set of users and when i've had real crashes before, i get tons of reports and can track it down fairly quickly.  This one has me a bit stumped and starting to think something else might be going on with their particular devices.  Any ideas?

  • i experienced this myself today.  ciq app crashed with the red exclamation mark of death.  but no log file.  nothing in era viewer (but i'll check again tomorrow just in case there is a delay).  app crashed about an hour into the ride.  changed the field to speed and then back to the ciq app and it ran fine for another 2 hours.

    nobody else has seen this then?

  • I haven't seen an entry in ERA for months, and I just don't believe my app is that stable. Maybe it is? Unfortunately I can't test it as I don't have way to force it to crash! Maybe I'll put in an obscure weakness in the next release to enable me to verify ERA.
