Font bitmap format ?

For custom fonts we currently support 1 bit fonts. You can set the color of the fonts still by using dc.setColor(), just like native fonts. This is missing from the documentation. We'll get that corrected.

Can't you already do that with a custom font and the font tool?

I don't have, and won't install, the font tool at work, but there are options to insert padding around characters.

Yes there are options, but they don't include individual options for unique letter pairings from within the *.fnt file. I am requesting kerning support, not wanting to debate (or argue as you would put it) other options.

I've added kerning support for the custom fonts to our todo list.
