CIQ setting couldn't be opened.

Hi:

Suddenly I couldn't open the setting of all my watchface in the Garmin connectiq on my phone. I could download and delete the apps but could not open the seeting. I'm from China mainland. I heard before there are bugs about users could't save their setting. This is very similar, I even couldn't open the setting.

I opened the Garmin express on my PC and can connect the watch and open the setting to save my change.

Some other users reported the same issue at the same time. I have a question, Does user need to communicate with garmin server to configure local setting? I only change my local setting, why need to communicate with the garmin server? Is it possible that user's setting data are stored on the garmin server instead of on local watch?

Thanks for your input, better if you could fix the issue.

Today there are at lease 3 more people reporting the same issue: They cannot open the setting, even rebooting the wqtch and phone.

If you want to use the Connect IQ Mobile app and this happens, try restarting both the device and your phone. Or just use Garmin Express when this happens.

Thanks Jim. I know the workaround, but sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Unfortunately iy didn't work this time. Fortunately the Garmin express always works. What I want to know why Garmin connectiq doesn't work for many people on the same time, Does users' configuration are stored on the Garmin server? If not, when my watch connect to the phone, it works the last minute, it suddenly didn't work this minute for many people. It is a simple techonology, shouldn't run into issue from time to time.

It's that the Connect IQ app has some bugs. Many if the "Contact developer" reports I get have nothing to do with my apps but The CIQ Mobile app installing/uninstalling/settings.

Is it possible that I just upgrade the Garmin connect to latest 4.54.1-rc3 and this version is toxic? I cannot open the setting since then.
