How do I change my manifest app ID?

How do I change my manifest app ID so that I can go from beta to released?

I uploaded my watch face as beta and tested it. I am ready to upload it to the app store. However, I do not know how to create a new manifest app ID. Do I really have to create an entire new app, copying my files over?

1) Make sure your source code is backed up or, better yet, version controlled

2) In Visual Studio Code, press CTRL/CMD-SHIFT-P for the command palette and select "Monkey C: Regenerate UUID"

2) In Visual Studio Code, press CTRL/CMD-SHIFT-P for the command palette and select "Monkey C: Regenerate UUID"

This will change the app's UUID in manifest.xml:

<iq:manifest xmlns:iq="http://www.garmin.com/xml/connectiq" version="3">
    <iq:application entry="YourAppNameApp" id="UUID_GOES_HERE"...

You can also manually generate a UUID and edit the file yourself.
