Hi,
I am trying to work out how to simulate data in the simulator when writing an app - with previous SDKs, I could either set it to simulate data or load a .FIT file to play back.
However, in the latest simulator, when testing my application (it is an application, not a widget or data field) I can see no menu options to manage playback or simulation of data.
Please advise! What am I missing?
Kinda hard to build an app based on data if I can't test it!

Make sure you are using the 4.1.2 SDK as there was a fix for playing back a fit file. When you start it (Simulation>Activity Data) you get a dialog.
Here I've selected playing back a fit, as well as the fit file to use:
In the case of anything other than a data field, just click the triangle neat the bottom. the times at the bottom are where you are in the fit, as well as the total length of the fit. With a DF, you can use the start button on this screen, or the start button on the simulated device.
This window needs to remain opne while simulating/playing back fit data
