Most useful/popular/requested information to be displayed on a WF ?

Hello,
I currently have my wfs display the following information:

  1. battery charge/level
  2. time
  3. Month + day-of-month + day-of-week
  4. upcoming sunrise
  5. upcoming sunset
  6. weather/temp
  7. weather/humidity
  8. weather/wind speed
  9. weather/% chance of rain
  10. weather/info retrieval elapsed time
  11. daily distance
  12. daily steps
  13. body battery: I will have this one added once available

And while the above list reflects the information I personally find most useful,
I am sure other users have some other information they find more useful,
And as I am planning to upload the wfs to the ciq-store I would like to introduce this as a question:
What information do you find to be the most useful/popular/requested,
Based both on your experience as developers (i.e. what info users ask the most) as well as your personal preferences ?

Also please note my question is not about *adding* additional information fields to the current layout,
but rather about *replacing* displayed information,
i.e. allowing user to customize/chose *what* info is displayed in a given 'field', so as to e.g. display heart-rate instead of daily-steps in that field;
e.g.2 assuming the layout is currently set to display temperature+humidity+windSpeed, and replies to this thread indicate that calories and distance and steps info are very/most popular, then I would modify the code so that user could swap/replace any of temperature/humidity/windSpeed info with any of calories/distance/steps.

Needless to say, the idea is to keep the code-footprint as small as possible by not adding non-useful/rarely-requested info
And rather only adding the most useful/popular/requested info -

E.g.
I have added - and later removed since did not care about - hear-rate/elevation/daily-calories/oxygen-Saturation/daily-climbed-floors/etc,
And never found the #-of-unread-messages/bluetooth-connectivity to be worthy of the real-estate + additional-memory-footprint

    If you ask 100 users, you could get 100 different answers.  Some like a minimal amount of data, but a larger font.  Some want everything imaginable, and don't care if some is so small you can barely read it.  Some want seconds all the time, others don't  Some want the move bar, and others don't care.  1hz heart rate is important to some, others may not want HR at all.

    Another thing to consider is the target device, where you may want variations on that.  Here's one of mine for the Instinct2and f7x, where both what can be displayed as well as how it's displayed varies, and here, it's also B&W vs colors.

    Hello, I have modified my OP to hopefully make my question clearer - i.e. what I am trying to ask is not what layout/GUI design is the most popular/requested, but rather what information is the most popular/requested - and so my intention is not to change the layout/GUI but rather allow user to chose what information would be displayed.

    And my answer is pretty much the same.  Different users prefer different things.  How many options you include is really defined by the look you want, available memory, available screen real estate, etc.

    As a background, my users won't request a lot because my watchfaces do offer nearly all possible data already and a lot of customisation...

    Personally:

    • I don't need targets and similar fixed values to be shown as a simple value, but some people do like it - I don't see any sense in showing something that's static
    • I would miss calories burned in your list
    • date formats are hard, here everyone wants something different - but regarding data I'd at least would want the calendar week as well
    • BT icon - just a small visual information that the watch is connected
    • and of course HR, but I assume you've just forgotten that in your list

    My users:

    I regularly get the request to add SpO2 but this seems to be broken on some devices even though they support it so I decided to not fulfill this wish yet.

    Future:

    If possible in the future, I will add following as well (all is requested by my users regularly as well):

    • Sleep Score
    • Body Battery
    • VO2Max

    Side Note

    If you have not added it yet, at least also allow to customise colors
