Windows Phone Connection Issues

Hello guys,

Windows phone users are complaining that cannot get he link code from my web site.

I imagine that their phones are not processing correctly their watch json requests, or are simply not routing the requests to the internet.

Anyone has some information about Windows Phone issues?

GCM/WP has never handled makeJsonRequests(). I started a thread couple months back in the GCM/WP forum asking for an ETA for this, and never got a response.

Also, last time I checked, it also doesn't handle CIQ app settings. I also seem to recall that with GCM/WP, CIQ "phoneConnected" never shows true, so watchfaces my never show the "blue tooth" symbol. (first time I tried something that used makeJsonRequest() with WP, I had to comment out the check for "phoneConnected" to get to the point where it tried to make the call)

I don't know about the current state, but I do know that the early versions of Garmin Connect Mobile on Windows Phone did not support the bridge functionality needed by the Communications module functions.

A new version of GCM for Windows 10 has been launched today. Any news about 'makeJsonRequest' functionality?

I don't believe that makeJsonRequest is available in GCM for Windows Phone just yet. Last I knew, I was speaking with their software quality team about verifying the functionality, but I don't know where they are in that process.
