This probably takes a GARMIN person to answer....
I added WEATHER to my DASHBOARD data field. I'd plan to change the time insight to "how long ago the weather data was observed". Many who use this field are ultra-distance cyclists who ride near/to/across time zones.
Does the Weather Station report GMT? If so, then it seems Garmin does the right thing and returns the OBS TIME in terms of the user's current time?
Or, does the Weather Station return the OBS TIME as an actual clock time? If so, then Garmin has no idea where the Weather Station is, and reports a time that is misleading in the case of a cross-timezone situation.
I know this isn't a big deal. If the "difference" math suggests the OBS TIME occurred in the future, I could just report back that it occurred right now. But I'd prefer to be accurate.
