VS Code - simulator missing when opening existing example project

I can creat a new watch face from scratch in VS Code and run it in simulator no problem. But when I open an existing project, either from Github or example folder in Garmin SDK and run without debugging it tells me: "No devices available to build for Analog. Download devices using the SDK Manager."

How do I "connect" simulator so it can see the project?

In the SDKmanager, what devices have you downloaded? Just a few or all of them?

Thanks for the answer. Just a few. That might be the reason. I’ll try to download all of them.
