Im noticing that if I go to my Garmin watch and manually pair the phone via the Menu>Phone Bluetooth pairing option and successfully pair my phone to my watch, then launch a BLE peripheral app that advertises via BLE, it will not connect/pair via the BLE advertising while paired via the main Bluetooth connection. But if I unpair via the peripheral (Android phone Bluetooth remove pairing) it will then pair via the ble advertising.
Often I have to go through this process of Bluetooth Phone pairing and unpairing for that particular phone to be able connect/pair via the BLE advertising. It’s as if it needs to know something about that phone first before BLE advertising will connect, but cannot be connected via Bluetooth at the time for it to connect via BLE advertising.
