How do you test watch face menus in the Simulator?

I have switched over from Eclilpse to VS Code and thought it would be a good to time to check again on Menu testing. Does the Simulator provide anyway to test button presses? In particular I would like to test the Menu button. I am building for a Fenix6X and have never been able to test menus on the Simulator.

Watch faces don't accept any kind of input, be they swipes or button presses. When in a watch face, up/down take you to the widget/glance loop, select can do a few things, like take you to the activity…
