Feature Request: Changes to the store

We have now reached a number of apps in the store, where not all the apps can be shown on the front page. Which is rather confusing!

I therefore have two requests for the store:

add number of entries to each category in the category list
add new virtual categories for "New applications" (last 7 days or so) and "Updated Applications" (also last 7 days or so)

Either that or a more structured description field. Or even better, both!

It would also be nice if all categories are actually shown. When I upload a data field, I have 10 categories to choose from. Only 6 of them are shown in the store.
