App name display error

When you download anything from the store, the prg file has a 8 character named defined by the app store and not the original name.

If it used the original name, imagine the problems if I had myapp.prg and you had myapp.prg and the user tried to install both.

I mean the datafield name which is defined in "@Strings.AppName", it changes to something else when I check in EDGE.

What string is AppName in your resource file(s)?

I don't know what you mean, but it's defined in the resource folder. Is that what you mean?

Yes, how is AppName defined in your resource file(s) and what are you seeing on the device?

Do you have multiple files where the string for AppName is defined or are you looking at the correct one in the correct place?  when you start a new project using a template, the AppName is the prg file name until you change it.

I think may be the second one and I'm going to have a test.

Sorry for borther you again,

the name of datafile still is wrong.

1. I new a project named "test" and change nothing, export and download it into edge520, the datafile name is "test";

2. I change the file: Modified the code, added .xml files used in different languages, and added a properties.xml file. And then export and download, as a result, the datafield name change to number.......

This question almost drives me crazy, do you have any suggestion.
