Publish App with multiple versions.

I think it would be good if you could publish an app, and then add other versions to the same heading. For someone like me who wants to create different color themes in a watch face I have to publish multiple times. Another place where I think it could be useful though, is you could leave an older version available if there might be features or something that people preferred over the new version.

I realize that in the case of an app or widget you could handle most differences through menu choices. But you would not be able to have a "lite" version by disabling features.

IMO, you don't have to publish the watch face multiple times to support different color schemes. You should be able to easily support this using the existing properties system and the ability to set them from the Garmin Connect app on a mobile device. Of course that second part is coming, but it will be here soon enough and then the app store is cluttered up with various apps that are no longer necessary.

Also, if you want to make an app that has different features (like a lite version), that is a different app. You should need to change the unique id in the manifest when you build it (and possibly name it differently so humans can determine it is different).

And that's why we are waiting. I want to add 4 more things to the store. But once its user configurable, it will only need 1 entry. So instead I am waiting.
I am impressed that some of the top watch faces now have over 600 downloads. I am hoping to hit 100 by the weekend.

Sharkbait_AU - I downloaded the text clock face and it's great, so thank you. It would be awesome if the face allowed settings to change the "zero" text to an "o" for 1-9 minutes (ex. 3:01 would read THREE O ONE).
