Connect iq field data export

Hi all,

I'm wondering how could I export my data from connect iq field fto a CSV file. I tried to sync to an other app (training peaks) also, but only the main data available (min/max/AVG HR). I need these data for further analysis. I'm a middle of a team test with 14people and it takes a lot of time manually.

Thanks, I've checked, and also there is a link to ask for bulk download via Garmin. I'm working on it.

Have you found a solution to this yet? I just wish that I could use the RMSSD field as one of the the overview metrics for the activity. But short of that doing a bulk export would be the next best thing…

If you export the activity as FIT, you can use the fit2csv tool in the FIT SDK:

Or you could try this 3rd-party npm library (EDIT: which converts FIT to JSON):

https://www.npmjs.com/package/fit-decoder

I've used fit2csv in the past, but one thing I dislike about it is that doesn't preserve the ID of unknown fields, which means that it's usually impossible to convert from FIT to CSV and back again (for example).

Thanks for the info, will try, but there are more than 400 measures so it takes a lots of time to save and convert all. Mainly hunting kind of batch possibility.

There are bulk downloaders for Connect IQ, such as:

github.com/.../garmin-connect-export

Once you have all the files, seems like you could script fit-decoder (which converts FIT to JSON), then run jq (or your own js script) to manipulate the results).

EDIT: as the readme for the exporter script points out, doing this is at your own risk. I've used it in the past to backup my Garmin data, for what it's worth.

It's a joke that Garmin does not support the IQ field, anyway my solution: download all activities create CSV files and datamine with R file by file.

By the way Garmin bulk download also not contains IQ field data.
