Font .fnt loaded but no .png File created

Hello there!

Usually, when I import my .fnt files, there is a .png-File in the "Fonter"-Folder created. My watchface shows the time - everything is fine.

I unfortunately ereased those png-Files while figuring something else out.

Now the problem is, that they are not created again from eclipse. As a result, the time is not displayed anymore - but the .fnt-Files are still there.

Cann I force the re-creation of the Font-png-files?

you need to provide the .fnt and associated png files. Neither are created by eclipse.

Both get created when you use bmfont.

I do use bmfont. But I save the Font as .fnt and while first running the simulator, a png-File is created. Thats why I thought its created from eclipse.

bmfont creates both the .fnt and .png files, but you need to set that in bmfont. See the Fonts section here: https://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq/core-topics/resources/#resources

Thx! Is it possible to find afterwards out which Font was used?

You'll see it in the .fnt file. For example

info face="SF Movie Poster Condensed" size=100 bold=1 italic=0 charset="" unicode=1 stretchH=100 smooth=1 aa=1 padding=0,0,0,0 spacing=1,1 outline=0
