Yes.  You are exceeding the power budget.  That 55631 has to have an average of 30ms (30000) or less. onPartialUpdate will stop after 1 full minute if you exceed the power budget.

You mean dc.clearClip()?

The problem is likely that when yo do a dc.setClip() it's too big an area.  The number of rows is important, as things are updated on the screen by row.
