color difference between connect iq and the actual watch

Hi I just finished customize my watch face for vivoactive 4. I know that it has 64 colors in it so I tried to use the color 0xffaa00 that exists in the device's color palette for the background. it looks colorfull in the simulator but when I tested it on a real vivoactive 4 it looks much much worse. Im adding pictures so maybe it will help you understand the problem. Should it look like that or is it a problem with the specific device?

Your dealing with an MIP device (like all Garmin watches except the Venu devices) and your pc/mac uses a different display technology.

For one thing, colors look much brighter in the sim.

I would also try looking at real watch in direct sunlight (or by shining a flashlight on it, to simulate the effect), as there's a huge difference in how the MIP display looks indoors vs outdoors. It def looks washed out indoors, but a lot closer to the simulator outdoors (imo).
