Montana 700 widget question

I have a user who's installed one of my widgets (and others) on his new Montana 700. The Garmin apps (Express etc) say they're installed but he can't find them to run.

The manual is not much help and Support say ask the developer. I don't have access to this device or any or experience of it.

I've made suggestions that haven't helped, so now I don't know if he's being dumb or if it's a real issue.

So my question is: where, on the Montana 700 family do you find installed Connect IQ widgets and how do you run them?

I'm hoping it's a simple question that someone can answer very easily.

Going from other devices, try a down swipe from the top to get to the status page and then right left to get to widgets from the status page. That's how it is on the Oregon 7xx for example.

Sadly he's now tried that & says, "I can get GPS location and time zones, but alas no Widgets."

One of my users wrote me this concerning the use of widget on a Montana : "At the attached picture no. 312 you can see the status page. No widget is visible.
By accident I swiped on this screen to the left side and a white bar with two dots popped up at the lower display edge (attached pic no. 307). If this bar is visible and I swipe once more to the side, a second status page with your widget opened (pic. No. 37). "

Thank you so much. That did it.

Actually, I think he'd got to the bar and dots (and hadn't told me) but hadn't swiped again.

He's a happy user now.
