Edge 1000 configurable app settings

Hi,

I can't seem to save app configuration settings on the Edge 1000. I am able to change them in Garmin Express but they are not stored on the device. This is the case for any of the 'configurable' apps tried so far (Dashboard, Visual Speed Alarm, Heart Rate and Time in Zone etc).

Consumer here,

Any news on this? There is some nice apps but if you cannot configure there is really no interest to use them.

Is there any update?
Was a new Edge-firmware released in the meantime which allows storing of app setting?

I want to reassing the Edge series to my datafield. But for this the error has to be fixed. Can someone confirm the current state?

Apologies--no updates on this yet. I know the issue is being addressed, but I don't know when a fix will be released.

I've not heard of anyone having this issue in some time (this thread is from 2016), and I have apps that need app settings that are available for the e1000 and never had any reported issues. I'd say it's fixed.

Great, thank you. The data field I want to download (Dr Skiba W’ bal) is suggesting it’s still a problem. I’ll try it and report back.
