Do some developers leave bad reviews for apps written by other developers?

Not that it bothers me much, and not that I'm weeping about it, but it seems weird that there's always one or two "users" posting 1-star reviews that are almost a copy of each other, complaining about features I don't even advertise in the app.

I understand when users leave bad reviews because they didn't read the instructions or don't know how to change units of measurement in their watch settings, but I'm talking about complaints about features that have nothing to do with the app, almost like they've copy-pasted a complaint from another review.

I'm not mad, I swear :)

...just curious if you've had similar paranoia :)

I'll sometimes get a review or contact developer for a completely different app. The user clicked on the wrong app. (maybe a similar name?)

Ignoring them works for me.

I had a look at your apps and the only 1 star review i see is "messes up gps"

In case you are referring to that one I'm curious why you would even suspect other developers to have written this comment, personally I would guess this is more likely to be a new watch owner....

I don't know, Tony and Jony wrote the same exact review after I received an email from Jony demanding in bad English: "Give me your source code"

:) lol

I mean I have no issues sharing the source code - I have a bunch of my projects open-sourced, and contributed to the open source projects myself, but we're talking something different here :)
