There is a minor problem/bug on the App Submit website, which had me confused for ages!
The following errors were detected in your app file - The updated version should be different from previous versions.
When I was trying to submit an update, with the message above, I got lost in rebuilding the IQ file many times (as it had changed), and then decided to just increase the version number string; and it worked.
Now I hadn't released a version of that number before; HOWEVER I had used that number just before, but the session had expired before I finally submitted (on the details page) and therefore I needed to go back through again.
Therefore the problem is - if you use a version number, regardless of if you actually finally submit or not, it will still check and error against it.
Is there two things I can request/recommend:
1. Change the error message to be more specific about the version number as it implies the ZIP/code hasn't changed or there is a problem with the file.
2. Only check against submitted versions, not those ones aborted.
