How to access real-time SpO2 data from vivosmart 4?

I'm a student working on a BLE research project. We are trying to access real-time SpO2 data from the Garmin vivosmart 4 watch and integrate it into a mobile app. What would be the best way to go about doing this? Would using the Garmin Health Companion SDK be the best way to go, or is there a different way we can fetch real-time SpO2 data?

The vivosmart doesn't support Connect IQ, so you can't write an app for it. I'm not sure how "real time" the data would be on the servers, and there are restrictions on who can use the Health API - I've never used it.

With a vivoactive 4 you can do CIQ, including CIQ BLE.

Thanks for the reply! I’m not too familiar with Connect IQ - would that be similar to the Health SDK?
