Simulate different dates in Connect IQ Device Simulator?

Hello,

I would like to handle different date events. Is there a possibility to change the watch date in the simulator that I can test time going forward (as a kind of time lapse)?

I guess there are also use cases that would need this for testing time events.

Is there a possiblity?

hi,

yes, when simulator (Eclipse) is running => Simulation => Time simulation

To change the date/time, you can change the date/time on your PC. In the case of watch faces, there is "Time Simulation" under simulation in the sim where you can set the date/time, and have it rapidly advance.

The Time simulation seems to be inactive in the simulator? (It is a widget testing)

It's only available for watch faces. Not for other app types like device apps and widgets..
