No devices available for project (VSCode)

I used the Monkey C extension for VS Code from Garmin, created a new project using the command Monkey C: New Project.

I have the SDK Manager installed. I tried to run the project to see if everything is setup correctly and I got the message:

"No devices available to build for project. Download devices using the SDK Manager".

I have the SDK Manager installed and downloaded all devices. I can open the SDK Manager using Monkey C: Open SDK Manager so it's set up correctly.

What is the problem?

Ok, I just tried it with VS code, While it creates a project, there are no target devices. Use "edit products" to add target devices.

i have same problem.

go to command edit products the list no my choose devices(Fenix 6 Pro Solar), I am sure have downloaded it in SDK Management.

What type of app, and what do you have set as min API level?

1. using ctrl+shift+p show all commands

2. input "Monkey" then select Monkey C:Edit products

3. then select the device you want

eg. fenix 5S

With the f5s, you must set the min API level to 3.1 or lower, or you won't see it on the list

I had the same issue with the same error message. I also tried to "Edit Products" but the list was empty. Turns out my SDK manager was still in the process of downloading the devices and had only installed 11 devices (11/83 installed). My application supports API version 4.0 and above and none of the installed devices were compatible, hence the device list was empty. I waited a few minutes until all the devices were installed and the list was populated properly.

Had this error as well and turned out that some of my languages in elements were with new lines and the file was not read correctly by the export script and was getting this error.
