Visual Studio Code Plugin Cannot select target device other than Venu 2

I have the SDK manager setup and running correctly. I have all sdks downloaded and I have all devices downloaded.

The target device I want to test currently is the VivoActive 4. When I run `Monkey C: Set Products By IQ Version` I get a proper pop-up with the following options:

Button Wearables
Touch Wearables
Button Bike Computers
Touch Bike Computers
Outdoor Handhelds

I then select Button Wearables and Touch Wearables, and the only options are Venu and Venu2s.

I've removed the sdk files, cleared temp files, removed the plugin and installed it again... I'm at a loss. How do I select Vivoactive 4? Shouldn't it just pop up in that menu as an option? Why is this not working properly?

Have you set a minimum SDK/API level in your manifest? If it's set to 4.0.x, the only devices that fit are the venu2/venu2s. Change it to 1.2.x and try again.

That doesn't solve it. I have selected 1.2.0 as 'API/SDK LEVEL' in the pop-up for a new project. Still only Venu2 and Venu2s showing up as devices.

Should I also activate SDK version 1.2.x in the SDK Manager? Or is having it installed enough?

[EDIT]: Never mind, I can't even select that low of a SDK level in the SDK manager. I'm at a loss. Whatever SDK version / APP Type I start my project with, the only two devices I can select are Venu2 and Venu2s

Update: Copy-and-pasted a manifest file from a GitHub project and Manually edited the values

Into it.

I can now start the emulator, and I see the Vivoactive watch in the emulator. However, I can only see the boot "splash" screen - nothing happens and I can't interact. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I'm very, very new to Monkey C and have never set this up before. I also understand from other posts that the Monkey C plugin for VSCode is rather new and not fully up-to-standards yet.

I hope someone here can guide me to a somewhat good start so I can start training the language. I know some C++ and I have good knowledge of Java and Kotlin, So I hope It won't take too long to get a few HelloWorld projects up and running.

Update: Removing spaces my pwd fixed this issue.

Very frustrating that a space in pwd makes the simulation process break. I usually name my language folders "LANG - Version SDK". Garmin Monkey C is now the first exception to this rule because it simply won't run the simulator if there is a space.

I hope this (can) get fixed.

The only SDK you need is the newest one. It will build for any device/sdk level.
