REST APIs

Hi,

I'm a cyclist using the EDGE 520 Plus GPS, where my data is fed into connect.garmin.com.

But I'm also a seasonal developer and would like to know if it is possible to extract my data from connect.garmin.com through REST APIs.

You would need access to the Garmin Connect API. I've never looked into this, but you should be able to find the information you need here:

Thanks Travis for your response. I came across this link and it is available to "approved business developers", which is not my case as I'm "Joe in the garage" developer. Sad ...

Below is the response I obtained:

Unfortunately, your request was not approved as it seems not to match our requirements for enterprise customers.

• a valid website
• a privacy policy link available for everybody on your homepage
• a running business model or business plan
• no personal use

A bit a pitty that Garmin does not allow a person to download its own data through APIs ...
