I need to get some unique and permanent identificator that can be obtained from a Garmin watches through USB. So when device is connected back after some time on any other PC or through another USB port, I could use such identificator to detect certain Garmin watches. I believe, Device Instance Path (can be checked manually in Windows Device Manager) possesses such identificator.
So far I see, that different Garmin watches models have at least two different Device Inatance Path formats, 1 and 2, for example:
1. USB\VID_091E&PID_4C9A\0000c56d0343
2. SWD\WPDBUSENUM\_??_USBSTOR#DISK&VEN_GARMIN&PROD_VVS4_FLASH&REV_1.00#6&5C121DA&0#{53F56307-B6BF-11D0-94F2-00A0C91EFB8B}
Am I correct that 0000c56d0343 in the first case and 5C121DA in the secons case is the identificator that meets my expectations?
