HTTPS and HTTP error 1001

Hi,

I read the thread about this but since I'm not good at network at all I could not find my answer.

I know that this error is a certificate/error issue when trying to use http instead of https.

But the API I use (OWM) is only available in http, can I do something to "convert" it in https?

In the SIM if I "uncheck" use https requirement, it works, what about on real devices?

I have used https with OWM for a long time.

so do I for the weather,

Have you tried https even if it's not mentioned in the doc?

I'd try asking OWM about adding https.

I'd try that first, as the other option would be to write/maintain your own proxy.
